Amanda Fitzgerald, PT, DPT, CPI

Amanda is passionate about helping her patients maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. Her approach to rehabilitation is a balance of manual therapy, exercise and education—a combination that helps her patients reach their goals through smart, safe and effective movement.

In addition to general orthopedics, Amanda specializes in pelvic physical therapy and women’s health. Her special interests include pre- and postpartum care and temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD).

Before embarking on her career as a physical therapist, Amanda worked in television production and as a Certified Pilates Instructor. There, she developed the resourcefulness and passion for holistic health that informs her approach today.

Amanda graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, which has a strong manual therapy program and emphasizes the Maitland approach. Amanda is committed to continuing her education and is currently pursuing additional certifications in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
