June 2010 Letter from the Editor
Hello all,
Warm temperatures are finally here and the bike path is getting busier. If you need to get your bike tuned up call ahead - most shops are now making appointments so you don’t have to be without it while you wait your turn. I am pulling out the old biking newsletter to go over the basics of fit and posture so you can get ready for next weekend’s Bike the Drive. Finding the correct position on your bike just as important that having a good ergonomic set up at your desk chair. You should feel comfortable and supported as you ride. If you are having discomfort then you may need to change your position or adjust your bike. Check out the following articles to guide you, but for a complicated adjustment you may have to stop by your local bike shop.
Another quick tip – make sure you have enough air in your tires – it makes for a much more efficient ride. Check the side of your tire to see how much air it takes. See you on the path!!
