To celebrate her new certification, Pat Staszak, PT will be teaching a four-class Kundalini Yoga series—right here at Andersonville Physical Therapy! Are you new to Kundalini Yoga? Here’s what you can expect from a class:

Kundalini Yoga is a rejuvenating blend of physical and spiritual practices. In addition to the physical exercises that you may generally associate with yoga, Kundalini incorporates elements of meditation and chanting. Kundalini can help you build a profound awareness of the energies within your body, and each class can help you enter a state of deep relaxation.

Unlike more physically-intense forms of yoga, such as Ashtanga or Bikram, Kundalini Yoga’s more gentle, meditative approach means it is suitable for all ages and bodies. For those with limited mobility, the practice can be performed from a chair, and if you are unable to physically access a posture, you may simply visualize the movement as part of your spiritual practice.

Kundalini Yoga is a great option for those looking to delve into a more spiritual form of yoga. Our introductory course is focused on relieving low back pain with gentle, mindful movement. To register, call our front desk at 773-907-3599 with your credit card information. Registration closes on July 7th. For more information, see below.
