Joe received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, in North Chicago. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Joe had a long career in accounting and finance. While receiving physical therapy himself, Joe found an interest in the profession and a passion for helping people. This fueled his desire to make his career change to physical therapy. His unique background lends him the ability to relate to patients with musculoskeletal ailments resulting from the typical day-to-day life of someone working in a business environment.
Patient education is highly important to Joe, and he views all patients as contributing members of the therapy team. He enjoys teaching patients the importance of proper body mechanics and posture, helping patients identify treatment goals and focuses his plan of care around achieving those goals. He has a special interest in treating problems of the spine and is looking forward to pursuing McKenzie training.
