John Denlinger, PT, DPT

John studied Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before attending the University of Illinois at Chicago for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since then, he has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics. While working in a college town with a diverse patient population, he developed a love for treating the shoulder. He found a special interest in overhead sports, particularly baseball, softball, and golf.

While John loves the shoulder, he has clinical experience with the whole body. John is Blood Flow Restriction Training Certified. To go along with his passion for helping golfers, he is Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Certified. He looks forward to becoming Dry Needle certified in the next year to further enhance his clinical skills.

John loves using his expertise to assist with the healing process when someone is struggling with pain or an injury and providing the tools needed to improve themselves. Helping patients gain their independence and confidence back is something that, to John, never gets old.
